From the early 60s and far into the late 80s, I worked for a Computer Firm. I grew up in computers in that job and loved every minute! As much as I learned about them and the equipment it took to run a MainFrame Computer, the internet had not yet debuted! What I knew as a computer was a complex machine that took up the footage of a small building! It required things like Keypunch Machines, Verifiers, Card Readers and a cold, Air-Conditioned room to keep the MainFrame operating! That is ancient history, and not very interesting to the young, who never heard of MainFrame computers that big! The computer today is the size of a cell phone! That’s what this generation knows!
