Grilled Salmon Recipe – So Easy, Delicious, Perfect!
Baked Salmon on the grill is a simple recipe and if you get your salmon from the Northern Pacific, you have the freshest and tastiest of all! This recipe always got rave reviews because of the taste, but the easy recipe is a bonus! A winner for your guests and easy enough to visit while you prepare! Enjoy your salmon while grilling season is here.
PREPARE: Work on a pastry tray for convenience to carry your salmon to and from the grill. Cut the foil large enough to completely package your salmon. Use a heavy foil but also line it with parchment to prevent salmon from sticking to foil and falling apart. Make sure parchment is completely covered with foil.
ARRANGE: For 1-1/2 to 2 lbs. of salmon, slice a lemon, an orange and a small lime.(the lime is optional) You want to layer slices of each on top and bottom of salmon in the foil packet.
GET READY TO GRILL: Before closing packet, add 2-3 tablespoons butter, 2 minced garlic cloves, 3/4 teasp. salt, 1/4 teasp. pepper, a few fresh parsley sprigs and a small bunch of dill or rosemary, but go easy because these two are stronger herbs. You do not want it overpowering, but just gently enhancing the flavor! I prefer the dill over rosemary with the lemon, but both are great!
Salmon Perfection Is EASY TO MAKE Every Time
15 MIN. TO EAT: Now, seal your packet and you are ready to grill about 375 to 400 degrees. The salmon will be done in about 15-17 minutes in a closed grill. Check often at the thickest part. If it is a bit translucent in center but edges starting to flake, it is ready. NEVER OVERCOOK SALMON! You might go to jail if you do, It is a crime!! LOL!
SERVE: Your package keeps the fish flaky, tender, moist and so delicious! Lift onto pastry tray to take to your picnic table. Remove foil by picking up entire parchment with fish onto a platter to serve. Top with some fresh dill and lemon slices if needed. Love it as much as I do!!
Extra tips: If your pieces are one inch thick, check sooner to avoid overcooking. If thicker, it is best to use a thermometer. If you remove it at 140 degrees and keep it covered to rest for a few minutes. It will reach 145 degrees and be perfect! Do not let it cook too long after removing from grill. Five minutes should be enough before removing the foil.
ECO-FRIENDLY CONTAINER: Wild Seafood is shipped in an environmentally-friendly case of green cell foam. Green Cell Foam is made here in the US from our own home-grown corn! Now you are buying All-American!! Green Cell Foam makes great compost for your garden. It will also dissipate in your kitchen sink! How great is that for our planet??!! ~
